Jaskiran joined Matthews Abogado as an associate in 2026. Jaskiran’s practice is primarily focused on representing insurance companies and insured individuals in tort and accident benefit disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Jaskiran was legal counsel working in house at one of the largest insurance companies in Canada. She has appeared before the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice numerous times.
Jaskiran was called to the bar in 2024. She received her JD from the University of Windsor in 2023, where she was the Editor in Chief of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, and a copyeditor for The Canadian Bar Review. She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2019 from the University of Toronto.
In her free time, Jas enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends and family, travelling, and going on hikes with her German Shepherd.
